ASSESSMENTS / EVALUATIONS

A Chemical Health Assessment/Evaluation is a comprehensive look at an individual's past and present involvement with any and all mood altering chemicals.

It is conducted by our Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors through interviews, collateral contacts, and diagnostic assessment materiel. After the information is gathered it is synthesized to comprehend a better understanding of that individuals needs. Next, by applying the ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) six dimensions of patient placement criteria we work to find an optimal recommendation based on the individual and specific need of our clients. Our recommendations may include chemical dependency treatment, education classes, or referrals to outside agencies.

We work with clients who are presenting with DWI, court or probation mandated, employment referred and those that are concerned with their own chemical use. Please call us with any questions regarding this process.

CAPP PROGRAM

Intervent Consulting has developed the CAPP Program to better assist attorneys and those seeking chemical assessments. CAPP was designed as a program that provides a more aggressive approach to the average assessment. We believe a chemical diagnosis on its’ own does not provide an individual with enough information to seek out the next steps.

Based on the recommendations given after the assessment, Intervent Consulting will assist the individual with any referral sources needed to facilitate the recommendation. For example: DWI education classes, inpatient or outpatient treatment programs, individual therapy, and any documentation that may be needed in the court of law.
